With this year’s Discover, Learn and Tour theme, the Mind Museum held its one-of-a-kind Space Adventure educational roadshow at the Atrium, Evia Lifestyle Center. It’s a month-long of free access of fun and learning for the whole family.

The Space Adventure display features of a miniature space facility for aspiring astronauts and space explorers. So, get ready to take the challenges of space explorations with the whole family.

Suit up, everyone!

Little Astronaut Kerrigan is taking us to her first space adventure.

Get ready with your space suit and helmet because it will help protect you from the different climate of the outer space. It will keep you safe as you go exploring the vastness of the universe.

The journey of an astronaut starts with a cosmic sleep cycle of about 6 to 8 hours. But, for this little one, she’s allowed to take a couple more hours of sleep to ensure a stellar performance in space. With her teacher’s, or Commander’s help, all little astronauts are ready to take the space adventure.

Did you know that astronauts train underwater to recreate a similar atmosphere in space?

They said life in space is never easy, but when you have all your space stuff, you’ll know you’re covered and good to go. There is a water treatment facility, a mini kitchen and a mini-lab to help the little astronauts complete any mission. Everything is packed and ready for the space mission. Food comes in small and airtight containers to keep its freshness.

Looks like Little Astronaut Kerrigan together, with her Commander, enjoys working on the unique greenhouse in space. This miniature greenhouse helps supply astronauts diets by having their very own garden to grow fruits and vegetables.

And the count down begins…

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 and lift off!

To explore the wonders of the outer space, the little astronauts must undergo intensive training to help them cope with their challenging space mission. In the Space Adventure, LEGO shared a display of an actual space shuttle jetting off into space.

The little astronauts explored the fabric of space-time in this remarkable display. 

The Little Astronauts get to enjoy a lot of fun activities while they are on a space mission. There’s a Geoboard to track different star constellation, a LEGO Activity Table to keep them entertained, a control centre, a miniature Solar System and so much more!
